Chemistry exam went well I think :) Hopefully I'll have done better than last year. Several of us were retaking this paper, as we all mucked it up last year. When we got into the exam hall we sat at the desks we were assigned to and found we all had the wrong exam in front of us! We all kinda looked at each other and signaled our confusion (no talking allowed in the exam hall) and a teacher came over and didn't belive us when we said it was the wrong exam to start with, but then checked his sheet and saw we DID in fact know what we were supposed to be doing and gave us the correct exam!

Its been raining so much recently, just sudden huge downpours its really odd; one minuite its perfect weather, the next its absoloutly pouring it down. I've got a chemistry exam tommorrow, its the one I dropped all my marks on last year and am retaking. Hopefully it'll go fine :)

rofl This a a very ammusing Monty Python meets Lord of the Rings thread.

Appologies to anyone who saw the maddness on my webcam earlier. It was all MONB's fault, clearly ;)

He DID fall into a wheelbarrow full of water and compost today, which was somewhat ammusing :)

Went to see my grandparents today which was nice; picked up a chinese takeaway on the way for lunch which they enjoyed. Went for a bit of a walk but it was raining a lot, but not too much.

Got my hair cut today, it was getting a bit long really. Went up to the nice hairdressers which is 5 minutes walk from my house and had it cut by the usual person, but this time they had a new young trainee hairdresser who they had wash my hair before hand, it was her first day too apparantly so I got to be a ginea-pig. (But she had nice tender hands so I didn't mind.)

Well, school is over now. Just exams left now, first one is the physics practical on thursday. Yesterday I saw the Attack Of the Clones film, which was OK, but poorly paced and with a lot of bad scenes they should have removed / edited. It was just lazily put together it felt like. The puns with C-3PO were just *ugh*. The dual-wielding lightsabres was cool though, as was Joda Ninja Action!

Yay for nice teachers :) In Chemistry today as it was our last lesson with the teacher she did some nice large explosions for the lesson and burnt a five pound note. (with 1337 chemistry skillz so it didn't actually burn, just looked like it) Then we had donuts and cookies and coke \o/. Only two days of school left...ever!

O_o I Just looked at my referals and people are finding this site throught searching for "Mythofsoma crack." Now Myth Of Soma is a MMORPG with a freely available downloadable client...so I don't see why you'd want / need a crack. If you want to play without paying, then you'd have to hack their servers or something. Its only £7 / month or something and thats fair enough as the GMs are constantly updating and fixing it.

Its amazing how fast a room of 60 14-15 year olds can clear the room. In CCF today as it was raining they were inside watching a video. As the L6 are on study leave there were only 2 of us to look after this whole 3 platoons, and the teachers gave us a video to show them. They didn't tell us however, that it was comprimised of several 20min programs, with a few mins of black to be fastforwarded through inbetween. The teachers then told us that we could let them go when the video was over. The video was a bit repetitive, about cover and camaflage, and the cadets soon lost interest and it became quite difficult keeping them all in line with only 2 of us. Then the words "The End" appeared on the screen at the end of the first programme. Sudenly the room only had 4 people in, the rest vanished in a mad scramble through the door. Ah well, they can watch the rest of the video next week, its teachers fault for not telling us there were several short programmes :p

I just heard my Mum yelling from next door that the "Tim Henman advert was on". This is the new advert which features him weilding his tennis-racket, and nothing else ^^;; I have no idea what its for, just heard my Mum going on about it as she heard about it from her friends but hadn't seen it yet. Tim Henman is allready rich enough, and is married, so why would he agree to an advert like that? I guess he likes his rabid fan-girls.

When I was walking to school today, there was this impatient woman in a soft-top expensive car, waiting to turn right at a crossroads. As there was a lot of traffic she was waiting for a while, and was giving nasty glances at everyone. Then eventually some nice person stopped to let her out, and she stalled trying to start XD As I was walking away I heard the desperate attempts to restart the car as quickly as possible, and she eventually managed to start her car and turn right, but not before everyone was mocking her :) Just shows you not to fume at others while waiting.

I got given my Silver Physics Olympiad certifiacte thingy today :) Its not as nice as my chemistry silver though, as its just got a handwritten "silver" where the chemistry one had a fancy silver star! Clearly the Chemistry Olympiad was the competition of champions!

\o/ Multiplayer Jedi Knight is fun :) You get to swish lightsabres everywhere and use force powers. The game doesn't agree very well with my comptuer though, which is a shame.

Now I have a 4 day weekend \o/ Will be doing some crazy LAN gaming with a couple of friends so don't expect to see me for the next couple of days as I'll be off gaming :)

I am slightly perturbed by this new remote control rat experiment...how long until it is extended to exert influence over humans? The basic mode of its operation doesn't really need to be altered...all it does is excessivly stimulate the pleasure centres of the brain to reward the rat when it does as is wanted. The control system, which gives slight sensations to the left and right rat's whiskers are only needed to communicate your wishes to the rat, a person could be controlled by a microphone. In one experiment these rats were rigged up so pressing a lever stimulated their pleasure centres, and they carried on pressing the lever to the exclusion of eating and died. Pretty nasty stuff.

Today I had a thrilling one on two lesson with a teacher about materials science, which is this special study thingy we have to do for chemistry. As the rest of our set is all biologists, they are doing biochemistry whihc is piss easy for them as its just biology, but materials science is all new stuff and we have hardly been taught any of it. Ah well.

This term for games I am now doing weights, which is fun :) The rowing machines are good general exercise and you get to sit down while your doing it!
